Summer Enrichment Series
For Students and Recent Graduates
In 2025, the Bertelsmann Foundation will host its fourth annual Summer Enrichment Series. Selected students and recent graduates will attend monthly dinner roundtable conversations at the office in Washington, DC to discuss space policy and explore a range of topics on this dynamic and exciting frontier.
2025 Program Dates: June 25, July 23, and August 6 from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Margaret Belford
Project Coordinator
Margaret Belford joined the Bertelsmann Foundation in 2025. As a project coordinator, she manages Bertelsmann’s subnational diplomacy partnerships, bringing delegations to U.S. communities outside the “Beltway Bubble.” Margaret also oversees the Summer Enrichment Series, a professional development program that offers students and recent graduates the opportunity to participate in expert roundtables on key policy topics. She is a proud Kansan.
Prior to joining BFNA, Belford interned with the European Parliament, the U.S. Mission to the African Union, and the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth, among others. She holds a B.A. in International Political Economy from the University of Texas at Dallas, where she focused on peacebuilding and the functions of multilateral and supranational institutions. Margaret is a U.N. Millennium Fellow, a U.S. Foreign Service Internship Program alum, and a volunteer speech and debate judge.
